Package: cups-pdf Version: 2.5.1-1 Severity: important --- Please enter the report below this line. --- I have had cups-pdf installed on my machine for years now. Imagine my surprise to pull it up for a routine run on the magazine I typeset, only to find that all pages I output with it are in fact blank.
I attribute this to cups-pdf for the following reasons: 1. the wheezy release is a new one; 2. openoffice.org is having no problem bringing up the pages in print preview mode; and 3. cups-pdf was all I needed to install to print to .pdfs. Still, I realize that lots of other packages do get installed with a big, complex package like cups-pdf; therefore, if it's necessary to redirect this report to one of the others or, for that matter, even ask me to refile my bug report against one of the supporting packages, I will gladly cooperate. Thanks very much for your help with this issue!! :) --- System information. --- Architecture: amd64 Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-amd64 Debian Release: wheezy/sid 500 testing security.debian.org 500 testing mirrors.rit.edu 500 stable deb.opera.com --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed =============================-+-=========== cups | 1.4.6-1 cups-client | 1.4.6-1 ghostscript | 8.71~dfsg2-10 libpaper-utils | 1.1.24 libc6 (>= 2.7) | 2.11.2-11 Package's Recommends field is empty.
