Package: vnstat Version: 1.10-1 Followup-For: Bug #589454 I have the same problem for long time. Today I looked more into it.
vnstatd starts, and then exits with: Zero databases found. /var/lib/vnstat exists and is empty. Running in debug mode in foreground do not solve/explains anyhting. I was looking how to create database, but there is nothing I can do using vnstatd or vnstat. I was also looking into manpages and README, and there is no info. Apperently vnstatd should just create database by itself automatically (per interface). Why this not happen? Was it working before?
