Progress. According to the 'README' under 'WARNINGS':
systemd will warn you during boot if /etc/mtab is not a
symlink to /proc/mounts. Please ensure that /etc/mtab is a
proper symlink.
So I changed '/etc/mtab' to a link, and now 'df' & 'di' correctly list
'/home' again.
I'd close this bug, but am hesitant. It would be better if the
'systemd' installation script took care of this '/etc/mtab' detail, or
at least prompted the user. Perhaps this is a 'wishlist' bug then.
