I just encountered this bug. With python 2.6.6-3+squeeze6, upon trying
to run iotop. For iotop's case (and for a simple import ctypes) the
mentioned "openwrt workaround" of commenting out the last line in ctypes
__init__ fixed the problem.
Any chance this gets into squeeze eventually, or maybe using 2.7 from
testing would solve it, so I don't have to hand-patch other boxes?
