Please include both 'check_ipmi_sensor' scripts (v1.x and v2.x) in the package nagios-plugins-basic or nagios-plugins-standard. It would be nice to have both of them but v1.x depends on 'ipmitool' and v2.x depends on freeipmi-tools so the plugin should depend on them. The scripts are licensed under GPL-3 at: http://www.thomas-krenn.com/en/oss/ipmi-plugin/ A better approach for the long term will be to have separate packages for each plugin the same way Fedora Linux does.
