Could we please get gmime 2.4.24 in debian? It's been out upstream for more than a month, and the old version is causing test suite failures in notmuch.
If there's a reason to not update gmime in debian, could you please
explain it (ideally, publicly on #619783) so that we know why there is a
delay?
