Hello, I've made an unofficial package of inspircd 2.0.4, I've made this available at https://gitorious.org/ssm-deb/inspircd
The packaging was based on the 1.1.22+dfsg-4 version, but most is now
probably rewritten. I'm not sure if there are any non-dfsg things left
in the upstream source. I did a quick sweep, but could not find any.
Notable changes:
Build:
* debian/rules uses new dh with overrides
* Allows parallel builds
* Allows builds with git-buildpackage
Run:
* Starts by default, disable in /etc/default/inspircd
* Default configuration updated from 2.0 examples
* logging to to /var/log/inspircd/
* LSB compliant init script
Please feel free to pull any changes you like to the inspircd packaging
repo.
