Package: rinse Version: 1.8.1-1 Severity: wishlist Hi,
when bootstrapping an x86_32 distribution on x86_64 hardware, yum will later install 64bit packages. Obviously, information provided by uname are used to determine the architecture for installing packages. Imho, that's not what should be expected in that case (I've explicitly stated 32bit when calling "rinse"). This behavior can be changed by adding 'i686-redhat-linux' to (a newly created) /etc/rpm/platform. Imho, this should be taken care of by rinse.
