Anyway, I now installed systemd on my laptop as well, and it works fine with labels and unreachable "noauto" filesystems in /etc/fstab. The problem seems to be something else, namely systemd does apparently not like this combination: Architecture: i386 (x86_64) With the 2.6.39-2-686-pae kernel rather than a 64-bit one, systemd works on my desktop as well. > Please attach the full debug log (if you can use a serial line). On a side note, I noticed two problems: tty1 is messed up, and /dev/xconsole does not exist. Do you want to have bug reports for those?
