Hello Martin, There is no bug, your PO file is not complete, it contains only 4 strings but po4a finds 8 translatable strings in the manual page (and 1 string is fuzzy because your PO file contains "release 3.29" and manual page contains "release 3.32"). $ po4a-updatepo -f man -m termcap-with-error.5 -p termcap-with-error.5.po ........ done. $ msgfmt -cv termcap-with-error.5.po 3 translated messages, 1 fuzzy translation, 4 untranslated messages.
