A new version of gtk+2.0 (2.24.7-1) has been uploaded, which fixes bugs
#616150 and #634091.

When I use the 2.24.7-1 version of gtk+2.0, I am no longer able to
reproduce this bug. But I am able to reproduce it with version 2.24.6-2.

So I think this bug is fixed now.

Nils: can you please confirm this after installing the latest packages
for gtk+2.0?

Best,
