I tried using the expeimental xorg to see if it made a difference. I now get this: (WW) Falling back to old probe method for fglrx (II) Loading PCS database from /etc/ati/amdpcsdb (--) Chipset Supported AMD Graphics Processor (0x6740) found (II) fglrx: intel VGA device detected, load intel driver. (II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/intel_drv.so (II) Module intel: vendor="X.Org Foundation" compiled for 1.11.99.901, module version = 2.17.0 (II) AMD Video driver is running on a device belonging to a group targeted for this release (II) AMD Video driver is signed X: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/fglrx_drv.so: undefined symbol: pciTag
This sounds a bit like https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42690 but I cannot see how it can be fixed. - Craig -- Craig Small VK2XLZ http://enc.com.au/ csmall at : enc.com.au Debian GNU/Linux http://www.debian.org/ csmall at : debian.org GPG fingerprint: 5D2F B320 B825 D939 04D2 0519 3938 F96B DF50 FEA5 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
