Package: debian-timeline
Version: 17
Severity: minor
On 2006-10-15, the timeline has an entry which reads "Project leader not
recalled by vote". This refers to
http://www.debian.org/vote/2006/vote_005 but is formulated in an odd
fashion (if the project leader not being recalled by vote is an event,
then that event also happened every day of the project...). It's only 3
lines below that another event clarifies what the first is about:
"Re-affirm DPL, wish success to unofficial Dunc Tank" vote passed
As both of these happen on the same day, I suggest to cover them in the
same entry. The title could be
Project leader confirmed amidst Dunc-Tank controversy
I don't know if the timeline tool supports more detailed tooltips, but
it would be nice to keep both
http://www.debian.org/vote/2006/vote_005 and
http://www.debian.org/vote/2006/vote_006 as sources and ideally, to
detail in text, for example:
In the midst of the controversy over the Dunc-Tank experiment, a
resolution to recall project leader Anthony Towns is proposed and
rejected. Simultaneously, an opposing resolution to re-affirm support to
the project leader and wish success to projects helping towards the
release of Etch is adopted.
