It's failing to configure apt; it could be cdebootstrap
problem, or apt problem.

Because this seems to be an unrelated problem to the one I reported, should I
open a new bug report? Alternative you can feel free to retitle this bug to
the new problem if the previous one was a known and fixed problem.
I'm reassigning this report to cdebootstrap.

and please do make sure you've not mounted /var
noexec etc.
~$ mount | grep hda
/dev/hda1 on / type ext3 (rw,errors=remount-ro)
/dev/hda6 on /home type ext3 (rw)
/dev/hda4 on /usr type ext3 (rw)
/dev/hda5 on /var type ext3 (rw)
