This seems to be a matter of opinion; membership seems like the correct terminology to me: the child tickets are indeed forming an implicit group around the parent tickets. At this stage, may I suggest that you raise this upstream now, because I think changing the terminology of the system in that way is likely to be controversial and it's not the sort of change I would want to make in Debian without there being general agreement in the wider community (and given I don't see the need for change, I'm not the right person to be taking the debate upstream).
