Indeed, builds fine on kfreebsd-amd64 with noopt…

Ouch.

There's a Debian package snapshot system being developed currently,
currently available as stabile:5001, which might help getting already
built packages. I might have a quick look at least with gcc-4.3.

I can provide you with a complete build tree, or extract whatever info
you need, I have a kfreebsd-amd64 porterbox handy (but not available
from the internet). We can discuss the details in private, and only
post the relevant bits to this bugreport.
