Naturally. TTBOMK, cynthiune.app is just one of the blockers for the removal of libmpcdec from the archive; there are no ongoing transitions that it's part of AFAICS. Meanwhile, the ICE got fixed in GCC trunk and the 4.4 branch, so it's up to the Debian GCC folks to pick up the patch.
