When I try to print under some Gnome apps: gedit, evince (which use cups), I
got this error, while printing under OpenOffice (which use lpr) works fine.

yeh the bug's still present,

Still present where? With which version of ghostscript did you test?

It would still be useful if you could answer above - even if you cannot test any further with different versions of ghostscript.

Please try the newest packaging as requested here: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?msg=78;att=0;bug=583738

I had hoped for help with above, as it is more reliable if those initially experiencing the bug could confirm that the bug has been properly solved.

Unfortunately it seems I get no response here, so I have decided to rely on my own limited testing: Printing a random page (front page of a Nokia AT command documentation) with the GTP-based evince-gtk works fine here, using ghostscript 9.00~dfsg-2. Thus closing as solved.
