As announced in the release notes[1], Debian 13 does not support 32-bit x86 CPUs any more, and the i386 port is only intended to be run as a secondary architecture on amd64 (x86_64) systems. The same is true for testing/unstable.

As a result, the 32-bit kernel (686-pae or similar) is no longer supported.

debian gnome-shell[17599]: Settings schema 'org.gnome.shell.keybindings' does
not contain a key named 'screen-brightness-up'

That GSettings key is part of gnome-shell-common, which your reportbug output says you have at an up-to-date version, so you should have it. Check that you don't have an outdated GSettings schema org.gnome.shell.gschema.xml somewhere else in the search path, for example in /usr/local/share/glib-2.0/schemas or ~/.local/share/glib-2.0/schemas.
