Issue can be closed.
You were right. There was a copy of gschemas.compiled
at /usr/local/share/glib-2.0/schemas.
I tried to downgrade to trixie, but that crashed at dpkg.
So I have to continue with forky and it still runs????
The reason I upgraded to forky, was I wanted to test a new version of
xserver-xorg-core, which should support glamor with modesetting on i915.
Unfortunately Xorg is not supported anymore which is clearly explained
by causing a crash....
