Package: php4 Version: 4:4.4.2-1.1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
I just upgraded my server from stable to testing. I was running imp3 on the server, which is a package that is in stable. I did not have any reason to expect it to break. However, it did, and spectacularly; I am now getting tons of "Notice: Only variable references should be returned by reference in /usr/share/horde2/lib/Auth.php on line 80". imp3 is no longer in testing, but that doesn't mean it should break like this. php4 ought to conflict with it. Better yet, it shoudln't break things in this way. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.9 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages php4 depends on: ii libapache-mod-php4 4:4.4.2-1.1 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii libapache2-mod-php4 4:4.4.2-1.1 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii php4-common 4:4.4.2-1.1 Common files for packages built fr php4 recommends no packages. -- debconf information: php4/run_apacheconfig: true php4/run_apache_sslconfig: true php4/update_apache_php_ini: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
