For reference, that's overstating the problem, probably: reverting to
the old crypto laws would only mean CD vendors couldn't *export* their
CDs. They could still sell them to Americans and Canadians, though, which
isn't that bad. (That's not a reason to not ask the lawyers' advice anyway
though)
