Hi Jonas, I suggest it because : - The front page of www.debian.org says "Debian is a free operating system (OS) for your computer." - www.debian.org/releases then introduces the three "distributions" of Debian, Stable (released), Testing (queue for next stable), and Unstable (development). Using "Debian OS" instead of "Debian distribution" suppresses the question : "Which distribution?" - It distinguishes Debian as a software from Debian as a group of people or Debian as an infrastructure. (But this is less relevant to this discussion).
