There are people who use their time doing things like hopping across a
continent on one foot. That is a lot of work, but it's not particularly
useful to anyone. Amount of work alone does not imply something deserves
support. At best it's harmless; if the people doing it insist others
help them, or otherwise hinder others doing more useful things, then
it's contemptible.
