I apologize for sloppily failing to mention that the package in question is targeted non-free. I see now that it is an important detail but do not understand why that makes it wrong to ask "in so many ways". For the record, I did not omit that fact to try steal time and attention from fellow DDs for unholy tasks totally irrelevant for the project. But I suspect that is exactly the reason you frame it as "in so many ways" wrong. I have now read the passage that you point to - which is so short that I find it reasonable to quote here: > By default packages from the non-free and non-free-firmware sections > are not built by the autobuilder network (mostly because the license > of the packages could disapprove). What in the above (or anywhere else that I am supposed to additionally take into account) makes my question "in so many ways" wrong to raise a question on the d-devel mailinglist? - Jonas -- * Jonas Smedegaard - idealist & Internet-arkitekt * Tlf.: +45 40843136 Website: http://dr.jones.dk/ * Sponsorship: https://ko-fi.com/drjones [x] quote me freely [ ] ask before reusing [ ] keep private
