I just wanted to state I strongly dislike LLMs and hope the companies pushing them run out of money and the technology disappears from the majority of peoples lives.
I naturally distrust the motives of corporations, and the AI companies have received major support from the western right wing and the various middle eastern oil kingdoms. I do not want a corporate created tool with questionable motives and training telling me what to think. Also a fundamental problem an autocratic government has is the need to have trust in their secret police. LLM chat bot technology provides at least the promise of a tool that does not suffer from the moral concerns that human workers might have. (Though at the cost that LLM's do suffer from being really vulnerable to fast talking) I really think we should do whatever we can to discourage the use of these tools. Diane Trout
