I've done drive-by uploads of sssd, and I'm happy to help co-maintain it, but I don't have the relevant sssd-knowledge to do any non-trivial packaging changes that appears to be required. Maybe you could start looking into packaging latest upstream, doing only minimal debian/ changes that is required to make it work? Put it on Salsa and upload to experimental if you are interested in joining the team (I'm hoping contributions are welcome). /Simon
