Not quickly enough unstable->fasttrack, where "not quickly enough" is defined as "VirtualBox wasn't even in fasttrack available to download for Trixie for weeks if not months after Trixie's release." If there had been a version there, any version, we probably would have stuck with fasttrack, but it wasn't there at all. I asked in the fasttrack's team's Matrix room multiple times how I could help get it packaged, and received no meaningful response that I remember. (This isn't a complaint; fasttrack's maintenance is best-effort and provided for free by volunteers, and I very much understand not having time to do things or time to tell others how to do things. It's just why I fear fasttrack may be too difficult for newcomers to help with.) -- Aaron > fwiw, I'm following unstable closely for these packages on > fastforward.debian.net, generally uploading at least within the same day > of the unstable upload, and Gianfranco does an awesome job uploading new > virtualbox versions very timely to sid. > > Regards, > Daniel
