This is the end of the thread, Quite a legendary end to discover a

Nordstjernen is NOT READY to ship into Debian. The security

to be resolved first and foremost before this gets shipped out to

Hi Stefan,

May I suggest taking a deep breath, and giving this thread a bit of rest? I think the back-and-forth has been going on for a while now, and it does not seem to produce much good any more.

I feel that the review from Theodore Tso is highly biased, and I think this is because Theodore Tso is employed by Google, which makes a competing web browser, Google Chrome. Therefore in my opinion the Nordstjernen web browser was not given a fair chance by the Debian community, and I will focus on other Linux distributions which does not have Google-/corporate-biases like Debian does in this instance.

Hi Andreas,

While I am glad that you don't just give up because of a bit of pushback, I must say that I am _very_ astonished at how you reply to an incredibly well-respected member of the FOSS community (and to some other people who replied here with an @debian.org address, as well as some who don't have such an address), who just spent a lot of tokens, his time, and energy, on handing you a technical review of the project that you have been working on.

While his verdict and recommendation of the _current_ state of it might not please you, he gave you some very useful tools and tips to improve it and to move it forward.

It seems to me to be extremely disrespectful towards such a giant in the software world to just brush all his work and advice off based on a presumption based off his presumed (I haven't checked) employer.

I do express my hope that you will re-read his email, and revert to your original reply; and that you might find it in you to part (if that is what you want to do) on a good note.

Kind regards,

Edmund
