Sruthi, you are the next line of accountability after the DFSG Team
itself. You should at the very least very strongly criticise the DFSG
Team's behaviour.
Community Team and maybe DAM also need to be engaged. Seeing such
high-handed rudeness go unchecked is extremely corrosive.
I agree with Ian and his reasoning that these mails are problematic.
Subjecting our contributors to AI slop is unacceptable, it goes against
what we are as a project and what we voted for in our last GR.
I've received these mails on behalf of other uploaders (who, for
example, made team uploads), and find it particularly discouraging that
the DFSG team thinks that this kind of behaviour is positive or
appropriate for the project, and like many other DDs, I don't think
having another GR on this topic right now is particularly productive.
