Since the freeze is in 7 days and I don't believe that we can fix all incompatibilities wrt the new version of perl as well as re-compiling all perl packages *after* the main perl package has stabilized, I would like to go back to the old version of perl. My proposal with this version of perl was 7 more days ago. Read: we lost 7 days of integrating perl.
