Hi. I was following http://www.debian.org/releases/woody/i386/release-notes/ch-upgrading.en.html to upgrade from Potato to Woody.
I had problems with a missing apt-utils package. Should that be added to the command you suggest running before the dist-upgrade:? apt-get install dpkg apt debconf I installed apt-utils later with dpkg, which then allowed me to resolve some other issues.
