As we have a deadline for translators (and that deadline is soon), we can disable the tarfile generation (for cdimages build) after that. Then we could update the release notes again (until a new "deadline", e.g. in one week, so we could also include issues users notices after relase), and then ask the translators to update within another 4 weeks. How does that sound? (That is only a rough idea, not an announced plan - and of course the release notes are only open *after* someone announced it, don't assume anything from this or other mails in this discussion - we shouldn't risk the release notes for the CDs for some minor improvements.) (And you are right of course - the timespan for the release notes is very short, and we shouldn't change anything right now, except trivial spelling etc fixes we can unfuzzy ourself.)
