Where possible with desktop-profiles, skolelinux could provide installations with an extra site-specific profile definition. Have you thought of a sensible name/location scheme for this in desktop-profiles, already? Or may desktop-profiles default to look for local ones in say <whatever-path>.local ? I'd love to see a shared place useful also for things not desktop-profileable. Something like a /usr/share/etc available and usefull to link to or source from in whole networks.
