Right. Did not notice that it already showed up there. Great. > Anyway: > a) Package debianization is just awful Some progress since the last email. WNPP bug #449037 got some info. A version of this package was already being worked on by the pulseaudio maintainers. I'm in touch with CJ van den Berg to coordinate this. Their version only support pulseaudio, while the version I upload support esd and OSS (disabled pulseaudio). Their package is named flashplugin-nonfree-pulse, so I renamemd my package to flashplugin-nonfree-extrasound. It is already uploaded to unstable. This new packaging is OK. A minor problem is that the ftpmasters did not like the fact that the plugin is in /usr/lib/. Not sure if it work to move it to for example /usr/lib/iceweasel/plugins/. Need someone to test this that got a LTSP test setup. > b) License is not clear to be DFSG compatible. debian/copyright says > the package is GPL, but at the code it has Adobe license[1]. It seemed OK to me, but I welcome feedback. > Maybe contacting people from http://www.revolutionlinux.com (they > are those at Quebec with 2.000 terminals under balanced LTSP > servers) who did the package is a good idea before including it in > Debian Edu. Not sure if it is needed, but I will send the patch and info on the new packaging to them.
