That explains a few things that puzzled me :) In that case there's still some work to do, we need to generate the override file after the certificate, but the infrastructure is in place. > also i think we need a way to avoid blowing away local changes on package > upgrades. but the regular apt conffile protection is perhaps enough ? The files installed in /etc/iceweasel/ not in /usr/share/iceweasel/defaults/ to avoid it being overwritten by Iceweasel upgrades.
