Beside the following two lines in tjener's syslog everything was fine: Jan 1 23:31:33 dhcp000 kdm: :0[2363]: pam_ldap: error trying to bind as user "uid=daniel,ou=People,dc=skole,dc=skolelinux,dc=no" (I nvalid credentials) Jan 1 23:31:33 dhcp000 kdm: :0[2363]: pam_ldap: error trying to bind as user "uid=daniel,ou=People,dc=skole,dc=skolelinux,dc=no" (I nvalid credentials) The logging into KDM/KDE worked never the less and everything looks OK.
