Everyone who is still playing Destiny at this point likes the grind, at least to an extent. That's not most people's problem though. What we want is more of a reason to play the game than to just grind. As of right now, I don't feel the need to play Destiny at all until HM Crota's End. And even then, once I get the only primaries that I want I will have absolutely no reason to play, and it will gather dust for about 2 months until House of Wolves drops. I have almost every Exotic in the game, and my preferred ones are maxed out. I'm level 32 with min/max'd gear, and I have all the good drops available from Crota. There is no reason to keep playing unless I feel like a PVP match or two. This is our problem. We need other reasons to play outside of just grinding.
