Information : I am a french person with some difficulties to a good expression in english. What's why I wrote this email in 2 versions : english and french, if some misunderstanding ;) Despite having followed your tutorial about installing Debian on the 1005HA model, I can not log onto the Net to download the packages due to an error of DHCP. I have tried on numerous occasions over several networks but not connect to internet during installation. And recently a new kernel is released and would like your opinion on possible changes to the installation (for example, the future kernel 2.6.32 integrate AR9285 wireless drivers, as I remember). In sum, I would like to have some more details on configuring the Internet connection. Incidentally, I remark about the preparation of the USB key: For new users who do not have access to a Linux system, they can not use the zcat command to prepare for USB key. Hence the tip with the utility "Win32 disk imager" handy (link: https: / / wiki.ubuntu.com/Win32DiskImager) Malgré après avoir suivi votre tutoriel au sujet de l'installation de Debian sur le modèle 1005HA, je n'arrive pas à me connecter sur le net pour pouvoir télécharger les paquets, dû à une erreur de DHCP. J'ai essayé à de très nombreuses reprises sur plusieurs réseaux, mais impossible de me connecter à internet pendant l'installation. Et puis récemment un nouveau noyau est sorti et j'aimerai avoir vos avis sur les changements possibles de l'installation (par exemple, le futur noyau 2.6.32 intégrera les pilotes wifi AR9285, d'après mes souvenirs). En somme, je souhaiterai avoir une partie plus détaillée sur la configuration de la connexion à Internet. Au passage, j'ai une remarque au sujet de la préparation de la clef USB : pour les nouveaux utilisateurs qui n'ont pas accés à un système Linux, ils ne peuvent donc pas utiliser la commande zcat pour préparer leur clef usb.
