the script is installed, but linked from digit rc dirs:

$ ls /etc/rc*.d/*eee*
/etc/rc0.d/K20eeepc-acpi-scripts@  /etc/rc4.d/S20eeepc-acpi-scripts@
/etc/rc1.d/K20eeepc-acpi-scripts@  /etc/rc5.d/S20eeepc-acpi-scripts@
/etc/rc2.d/S20eeepc-acpi-scripts@  /etc/rc6.d/K20eeepc-acpi-scripts@
/etc/rc3.d/S20eeepc-acpi-scripts@

the reason i'm running 1.1.2 is because it is the last version
tha installs on lenny. later versions require acpid (>= 1.0.8-6).
