(Sorry, first respond went wrong)
Hi Ben! With pleasure.

-------- this is before reboot, everything is working, fresh reinstall ---
lsmod | grep eeepc
eeepc_laptop 18183 0
sparse_keymap 12730 1 eeepc_laptop
rfkill 18387 4 cfg80211,eeepc_laptop,bluetooth

--------------------

------------ this one is after reboot, grub option acpi_osi="Linux" ----------

lsmod | grep eeepc
eeepc_laptop 18183 0
sparse_keymap 12730 1 eeepc_laptop
rfkill 18387 4 cfg80211,eeepc_laptop,bluetooth

------------------

Just to make sure, there is no difference.

My netbook is an EEEPC1005HGO, which needs eeepc_laptop kernel module, as
eeepc_wmi does not support the interface.
Hope this helps. Please feel free to ask for more info.

Best

Hans
