It seems that James LewisMoss is still in charge of the xemacs debian package since he upgraded the unstable version recently. However there seems no discussion going on about xemacs: there are some package oddies I mentioned in my last mail, I forgot to add one: x-symbol, the debian package is quite out of sync with the official release. X-symbol is now an official x-package so there should be not need to maintain it as a separate debian package. The same holds for auctex. Another suggestion: Couldn't 21.4.x (21.4.15 now) become the stable version and 21.5.x the unstable one. This is the official politics as stated in the xemacs webpage. Regards Uwe Brauer
