I am working my way through building all the base files for i386, and I have hit a problem with newt.
It complains about python2.5/_snackmodule.so, which is not found. Now I suppose the main question here is whether we really need to be be building the python bindings for newt. I have found some references to this being a known problem at:- http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=9257 but that suggests that it should have been fixed.
