Hello,
On hurd-i386, applications can't find ffi.h because it is put in
/usr/include/i486-gnu, but on hurd-i386 is not compiled with multiarch
support. I guess what happens is that the filter in debian/rules
catches hurd-i386, but it shouldn't.

That should be fixed in gcc. If not, please send a patch to configure with
--enable-multiarch.
