Mint probably uses files in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ you should disable or
remove those.

You probably also have the old Mint repositories still configured, check
the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ directory first. I suspect Mint prefers its
own packages using pinning over those in Debian repositories.
