Package: libc6 Version: 2.3.2-2 Followup-For: Bug #204711 Hello, I have exactly the same problem on my box at work, authenticating via nis from a woody server. Downgrading to 2.3.1-17 fixes it completely, however most progs I need (including apt) are linked to 2.3.2 thus my box is useless :(
