Hello, Tried to build 2.3.6-4 under an unstable chroot, sources downloaded from ftp.us.debian.org and got this:
... Applying patches...failed! (check /home/peter/glibc/glibc-2.3.6/stamp-dir/patch-log for details) make: *** [/home/peter/glibc/glibc-2.3.6/stamp-dir/patch-stamp] Error 1 patch-log: Applying patch glibc235-gcc4-ppc-procfs.diff Patch glibc235-gcc4-ppc-procfs.diff does not exist Build invoked by: dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -b -D -uc It seems that debian/patches/series references this file, which doesn't exist in glibc_2.3.6-4.diff.gz. Once i removed this reference, I could build without any problems. How could the buildds build these packages without any problems?? /Peter -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact
