Hi,

Since caddy missed an update in trixie (it ships same version as in bookworm) and has some security vulnerabilities, someone requested backporting it as a wishlist bug [1].

I'm planning to do this and has rebuilt about 14 build dependencies already, some more to go.

More help to keep the backports version updated going forward (at least when there is a security update) would be welcome.

golang-google-cloud-dev and golang-google-api-dev seems to be in a complicated circular build dependency loop which is not easy to break.

golang-google-cloud-dev 0.123.0-3 needs golang-google-api-dev (>= 0.276.0~)

But that in turn needs golang-google-cloud-dev (>= 0.115.0~).

I thought of building the older versions first, but building these versions are also in that loop with minimum versions not in stable.

So I'm trying to build
golang-google-cloud-dev 0.115-1~exp0 which has a lower google api requirement but it needs golang-github-census-instrumentation-opencensus-proto-dev which is only available in oldoldstable.

It was removed on 2026-03-26. So how to proceed here?

May be vendor the other required version to break the loop ?
