Dear Team, I have updated the `Real World Transition Examples` on the Wiki with a new example for `Renameing Legacy Package` from `golang-github-google-go-github` to `golang-github-google-go-github-v60`: https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/DebianGoTeam/ModuleAwareBuilds#Renaming_Legacy_Package
The example contains not only the renaming, also has a test FAILED case that Debian has new newer version than upstream required. Suspect we need to cherry-pick fix from upstream. And how to check upstream git commit, cherry-pick right fix from upstream. Hope this helps as a practical reference for similar package renaming during the module-aware transition.
