Doesn't this bug already been fixed ? I had it with the debian package gnome-panel2 1.5.22, i compiled the package 1.5.23 and it disapeared. I just had a look to debian experimental packages and gnome-panel2 1.5.23 is already there... Are you sure you're running this version ?
